Attorneys Interested in Municipal Court Appointments - Please Read!
In addition to evaluating court-appointed counsel for municipal courts, the Municipal Court Program (MCP) at the Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel (OADC) assists municipal courts find attorneys interested in taking court-appointed cases. If you would like to be added to the list of attorneys interested in taking additional municipal court appointments provided to municipalities looking for court-appointed counsel, please click HERE and select “I am an attorney who wishes to be added to the list provided to municipal courts who are looking for court-appointed counsel.” Please complete this form even if you have indicated you would be interested in taking appointments in the past. We are starting 2021 with a blank slate! Municipal courts are responsible for contracting with and the payment of court-appointed counsel, not the OADC. The MCP only assists in connecting attorneys and municipalities. We cannot guarantee that municipal courts will add you to their list of court-appointed counsel. |
