2018 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year | Stacie Nelson Colling

Under CJDC's Access to Juvenile Justice project, Stacie has given her time, creativity, energy, and brilliance to develop and support the project through some especially challenging circumstances. Over the past year, she has also brought our Colorado Juvenile Defense Manual to its polished, consistent, professional, and fully updated 716-page 3rd edition - it is solely due to Stacie's dedication and diligence that the 3rd edition exists.  Stacie continually supports CJDC each and every day, from co-organizing and hosting the annual Excellence in Juvenile Defense Conference, to serving as a policy and practice resource for the community, to stepping in whenever CJDC needs a helping hand -- she is always here, behind the scenes, quietly and humbly helping CJDC make a difference.
