Hotel Accommodations:  We are in the process of securing a block of rooms at The Art Hotel across the street from the training. A link to the room block will be posted available by Sept 13th.

Initial Details: During this incredible week, over 25 nationally recognized trial advocacy trainers donate their time to help energize, motivate and teach participants to transform their trial skills. The training involves plenary sessions and small group break-out sessions where participants work on a sample case from beginning to end. Topics include theme and theory, voir dire, opening statements, cross-examination, direct examination, jury instructions and closing arguments. After faculty instruction and demonstration on a topic, participants work in small groups to develop and elevate their individual skills in a supportive and safe environment. This training is relevant to all skill levels - whether you are an experienced trial attorney or a beginning defender, you will benefit greatly from this remarkable conference.

Reviews from previous years’ participants:

“This was one of the best training programs I have ever attended. Every speaker was excellent. The small groups were invaluable.”

“This is a great all-around training. Comprehensive, rejuvenating, inspiring.”

“This training was truly phenomenal. I was a PD for 5 years and so have been to quite a few conferences like this. But this one was different. It was so much fun. In the past, I always seemed to carry more anxiety with me. At this conference, I just felt really supported and protected—like we were all going to get there together, if that makes sense. I don’t remember ever having so much fun doing a closing argument. And the faculty was just super top-notch. Truly felt like I was getting wisdom from the greats.”

“I’ve been a lawyer for 8-1/2 years and this is the BEST CLE I’ve ever attended!!! I’ve learned a ton and this CLE captured my attention for every moment that I was there.”

“Best training ever!”

“Fantastic! So thankful for the opportunity to come and learn – so inspiring!”

“Loved it! I’ve done multiple trial ad trainings and by far this was the most helpful, supportive, effective training and I hope to come back next year.”

“This training makes me a better lawyer, every year.”
